Every once in awhile I'll take what I think is a *great* shot and not be entirely satisfied with something in post-processing. This is where I am able to draw on my skills in post-processing. When in Baltimore a few months ago, I took this shot and really liked it. I liked the angle of the boats, and how the cloud pattern drew one's eye into the scene. In post-processing, I thought it was less than stellar and began trying different effects before settling on an infrared version. While not necessarily suitable for all shots, I definitely feel it made this particular shot more interesting.
